Manual For LEDIKA HL-003 Electric Chain Hoist

1 .Product Introduction

LEDIKA series electric chain hoist is a new generation Electric Chain Hoist which is being researched many times and produced with reference to the product structure，performance and features of the same kind of foreign stage hoist 。It is a small electric lifting equipment which is ideal and practical。

2.   Application Scope

    HL-003 Electric chain hoist can be used in lifting operations, and it is especially suitable for installation of stage equipment, installation of temporary and fixed-place performance。Electric hoist working environment temperature is -25℃～+40℃. It is not suitable for working in the medium with fire, explosive or full of corrosive gases and in the place which the relative temperature is 85% higher than the medium. It should not be used for lifting the molten metal, toxic, flammable and explosive materials. When used outdoors, we need to add a shield in case of raining and snowing.

     LEDIKA’s HL-003 model of electric chain hoist is a kind of super low-speed electric chain hoist which is derived from the general electric hoist basing on a special construction requirements of performance industry. This type of hoist can be multiple used by combination.

3.   Model

The HL-003 model electric chain hoist has a greatest safety lifting height of 30m. The standard chain length is 25m, but we can make chain length according to customers need. Its rated lifting weight is 1-Ton, adopting three-phase asynchronous motor and run-style electric chain hoist with a running car.

4.  Design Feature

HL-003 model electric chain hoist has gearbox, wall panels, up and down hook, motor, chain, electrical control and some other units. Run-style electric chain hoist has a circulative organization. The machine adopt all plate-type. The shell armor plate uses punched-molding. The surface is treated through electrostatic painting, three-phase asynchronous brake motor, power supply of 380V, 50hz.  

There are two possible ways of manual electric control, one is direct control, two is indirect control (low voltage).

HL-003 model electric chain hoist is single speed and single chain lifting. There is a safety clutch in the electric hoist which will automatically slip by itself when the lifting weight is more than its limit. The machine’s safety clutch has adjustment mechanism. When it is used, customers can easily adjust it.

5.   Cautions

5.1  the safe rules of assembly and disassembly

●the work of assembly and disassembly can only be carried out by professionals

●Work areas and dangerous areas need to be used protective measures

●Wiring up the equipment following the rules of electrical technique

●     it can only be used with right, inspective and calibrating equipments and tools

       5.2  the safe operational requirements

●Must make sure  all of electrical components is without electricity before the electrical equipment and installations start to work

●At the beginning, the operator must make sure the brakes, emergency stop limit device and emergency stop devices and functions are well

●once finding any problem about safety and operational reliability ,must shut down or stop the launch immediately. Not allowed to switch off or change the security violation.

5.3  the safe rules of maintenance

● the maintenance and repair work of Mechanical and electrical components can only be carried out by the professionals (experienced mechanic), adjustment and maintenance work and testing period, including the replacement of parts / part installation requirements which is prescribed by the product instruction  must be observed.

● the power of electric hoists need to be shut down during any maintenance, and preventing accidental or unauthorized machine start (restart). Switch must be locked.

●Flammable cleaning agents or deformable objects (such as wood, plastic, oil, grease) and electrical equipment, should be avoided open flames, extreme heat effect and spark------ Otherwise it will lead to fire, which will release poisonous gas or damage insulation.

         5.4 Supplementary specification of maintenance of electrical components

●can only Use the original electrical components with the provisions ofthecurrent strength and power failure characteristics, the broken electrical components can’t  be repaired or lapped, must be put on the same type of electrical components. Power failure occurs, turn off the electric hoist.

●the work of Electronic and electrical components or equipment can only be carried out by e-professionals

●Cut-off power supply of Maintenance parts if it is stipulated, after cutting power, must make sure it does not contain any electricity.

●inspect the electrical equipment of hoist termly. If there is any problem such as loosing connection of parts, damaging wire, worn contact point, it must be excluded immediately.

         5.5  illegal operation prohibit

1) No standing and working on the lifting objects, no carrying person

2) No lifting loads

3) No walking and operating under the lifting objects

4) No turning chains, no chains knots

5) No horizontal lifting

6. Regulation means

The regulation of safety clutch:

     The Hoist under normal work condition，but load fall short of rated value has skid or load beyond 1.3 times rated value are still not skid, if so please open the front cover，you will see a square wallboard (3)，hex nut in the upper right corner (please see the attached drawing 28 ) tightening or loosing the part 28( hex nut). Tightening：increase the load value， loosing：reduce the load value， but not allow to adjust the nut to attain over loading.

 7. Electric principle

   The Hoist include direct control and indirect control. Please see picture below. Voltage of direct control model is 380V.

To make sure the safe use，we recommend user used indirect control model.  Control voltage 36V.

Operation for LEDIKA HL-003 chain electric Hoist

You must be very carefull when you install the Hoist because the bady and chain are on the floor. If not, it will creat damage. So you’d better equip with fly case with wheel which could make the Hoist stand up and turn the chain up. It can be more convenient to use and protect the paintwork and save effort.  Concrete steps as following：

一、Prepare：The first time using a new Hoist should lengthen the chain with hook，to put the Hoist into fly case and make it stand，to make the cross upward，and then put chain into compartment in reverse order. That could make chain free in and out and difficult to make knot.

二、Usage

     1. Remove the flight case to lifting point，hang chain on beam by halliard，and then to hang up the Hoist with handle or Hoist controller，at last，remove the flight case.

2. Hang the canvas bag up the locking-type which is beside the Hoist and then put the end of chain into the bag .

3. Check vertical chain to make sure whether as the rope’s rotation drive it to rotation when the rope lift chain(note:stranded ropes will rotation when giving power ,but the braided rope or tape won't.) If so, please unplug the cableplug ,turn the machinery to corret it ,then hang the hoist to gong on your lifting.

4. Should pay attention to equal stress of each Hoist when more than one Hoist work at the same time. Lefting point must keep chains in a line. If not，it will creat an angle and Interacting pull，it will pull sling away from the hook.

5. Use flight belt with U link to hang up things

Take apart after your usage，please put the fly case under Hoist. Put Hoist into fly case according to counter-clockwise direction. If you havent prepare fly case you can lay it on the floor and put chain hook up . In order to not make the chains together please hold it when you stand up.

Tips：two Hoist can life one ton of cargo each other but it doesn’t mean it can left two ton of cargo together. If one load a little then the other will be overweight. If so，the safdty clutch will be slided off and result in other accessories damage. commissural organ wouldn’t work under normal conditions. A number of action will wear off the lifting force of the Hoist，you can adjust nut to avoid it. Please locked theend of nut with spanner by one hand when you adjust it.

Important notice：

●To use the Hoist must by professional person and comply with this manual.

● The safety grounding device (the line with green and yellow colors)should be up to the specification, and set the air circuit breaker with the correct capacity . The zero curve should not be used .

● With a strong rope to tie up the end of the chain and Hoist bag，to prevent the chain slide off to result in injuy or property damage.

● Please used halliard to hung chain when you put up Hoist to prevent the chain revolve and creat accident.

●Can not use damaged chain，to prevent the accident of chain rupture.

● The chains must keep vertical and parallel when two or more Hoists works at the same time. And each Hoist must be watched by one man， if found any problems he must called stop immediately.

● Found lifting force insufficient or sound loudly，please check the 360V power supply  normal or not，t whether the lack of phase, lack of phase will burn motor. When pressed to move the switch to off to prevent damage to the impact of current parts. Set control switch activated, should immediately move to stop button for emergency treatment
